Established in Melville in July 2007, The Art Room is a contemporary art gallery with the luxury of having its own framing studio and factory. The gallery component is committed to the promotion of local artists and the nurturing of new talent. The framing component is focused on providing specialist knowledge and service in the framing of fine art.

The Art Room has been based in Parkhurst, Johannesburg since 2011. At the gallery we feature monthly art exhibitions with a focus on contemporary art.
We also consult on framing from our gallery space. We focus on custom framing, using only timber frames. We are specialist framers of fine art, ensuring the preservation of your artwork.
